Spider ears fit loose, what you are seeing is the spider drop and the pin between the other spider gears. The axle has a small taper on the end before the spline. It will lit the spider and slide right in.
It’s getting beat up in there, it will move around no problem but it won’t bend downwards at all which is preventing me from lining up. So a spider ear is the same as the baffle / splash guard in there right?
