Hi all
I just got a 2010 Golf Mk VI 2L oil burner. The coolant gets up to about 85 degrees when sitting at traffic lights, but when I pull away and start driving it’s dropping down to about 70 degrees.
In my head, the thermostat is stuck open; Would you agree?

Does seem cool and the gauge behaviour backs up your theory, first thing I would look at.
