Anyone have any good PropTips to share?

I just finished my first winter tire swap and learnt I should probably invest in a rubber mallet, and use anti-seize on the inside of the rim next time to prevent rust and sticking.

The #1 mistake DIYers make when changing tires is not using a torque wrench to tighten lug nuts. #2 mistake is not cleaning rust off the center ring of the wheel and applying a small dab of anti-seize before installing. That’s where the wheel corrodes to the wheel hub.

Thanks - I have a torque wrench and know the appropriate torque for each vehicle.

Doesn’t look like any shop I’ve used in the past have applied anti-seize 🤪 I was initially worried when the wheel didn’t come off.

Definately going to grab a wire brush and start applying anti-seize. I see differing opinions if the anti-seize should be copper or not. Glad to hear I’m on the write track
