My EA app (Android) still thinks I’m connected and charging to a station for the last 74+ hours. The station itself knows I’m not. I called support and they rebooted the station and forced a charge for me when I went back today. But my app then went back to saying “Charge complete. Charging time 74 hr 45 min. Grace period”

Thank goodness they aren’t charging me idle fees!

I’ve submitted a ticket, but has anyone else experienced this with the EA app?

This has happened to me as well. afaik Its not an app issue but a dispenser issue. Had to call in and they sorted it out over the next day. But for the rest of that trip I had to either tap my card or call in if the card reader didn’t work.

Same. Got it yesterday morning and its still going. Pretty serious bug in their app.

Side note you can use tap pay on your phone with EA to bypass this and start the charge.

It happens, the tech team takes forever to get to things but it’ll be done in a couple days generally. Unfortunately if you need to charge before it’s done, you will need to call.

It happened me before and it’s obvious that it’s EA issue so I don’t really pay attention to it anymore. Also when this happens during long distance trip, you can’t charge through app because it’s stuck at previous charging station. In that case, I can start to charge with my EA membership card from my Apple wallet and it recognizes my account ( I have three year free EA charging).
