So battery light came on a while back, no voltage from alt.

Disconnected the current sensor on the neg cable and charging is fine. Thought I fixed the issue at this point.

Down the road a few months- light comes on again. I now can only get the alt to put out voltage after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Any experience with this? Possibly a pcm issue at this point?

I’ve seen common issues being ground cables- mine look pristine, connections are fine. No fluctuations in voltage when moving the neg cable.
