Hi guys, im planning to buy a used vehicles ( Chevy trailblazer -2005 - 200000 kms in the UAE for almost 4000 dollars.) Is this a good buy? I really like the design but im curious whether ill end up in debt…everyone tells me to not buy american cars used as they’re not reliable comparing to german and japanese brands but i just love the box shape design and in your face grill of the chevy trail blazer. Plus its going to be my first car and I’m going to bust my savings on it…should o reconsider and if.so…are the parts and maintenance going to be a pain to keep up?

    How much driving do you plan on doing? The trailblazers fuel economy was dogshit when it was new and the last 20 years has not likely been kind to it.

    As for reliability, I am not normally a GM/Chevy guy… But these are far from the worst and they actually were not bad. Saying that, it entirely depends on the maintenance history and if previous owners have taken care of it and even if it has been well taken care of it is still 20 years old and anything can happen at anytime.

      Not much tbh, mostly on thr weekends. Im a huge believer in using public transportation for work and other things directly as much as possible but i want a car so i can take it on the weekends to other emirates and places which cant be much accessible by public transportation. Currently i rent on some weeekenda but its not feasible…soo…but im just in love witht rh trail blazer of that period…its soo easy on the eyes…less lines amd bulky🤣
