It’s a TRD pro. Would be saving about 7k off getting a new one.

Ask for a deeper discount due to the rust, or pass on the vehicle? Is there anything I can do to remove some of it?

    Take that truck and love it. The rust isn’t concerning. Colorado is a low rust state compared to others like Florida. Have a mechanic you trust check it over first though to make sure they can’t find anything hiding. If Carmax is very reluctant even if they drive it there and you’re willing to pay for the inspection, RUN. That means they’re hiding damages or issues. Even with cash try to handle them lower. Carmax over prices their cars already.
