I did a fair bit of research and landed on the RM2. Still feeling a bit guilty spending so much when pen and paper is right next to me, but really hopeful that RM2 will help keep me more organized and reduce clutter.

If you like pen and paper, odds are you’re going to love the rM2. Having all of your notes, along with books, articles, etc in one small package is pretty great.

Generally the people who are unhappy with the reMarkable are looking for something closer to an iPad (which it is definitely not).

I felt the same but haven’t regretted it. About a month in and I am sooo much more organized. The next thing is for me to get one of those calendar templates!

I was feeling the same way, got the tablet and played with it for 2 hours. I use it everyday and am in love with it. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I had the same worry. I typically write with pinks and purples on notebooks. RM2 changed my life. I love it. All my notes in one place. I don’t have to manually search different things on different pages of the notebook. It’s all in 1 place and accessible on my phone too.

As long as you can live within its limitations, it’s life changing. I agree with the other comment that as long as you are not looking for an iPad with apps and internet, or a nice e-reader, you shouldn’t be disappointed. The reMarkable is geared for WRITING, and creating, and thinking. I find that I can get into a flow state and get so much more done on it, but I’ve learned to stay within the lanes of what it does and avoid what it doesn’t do well.

If you get stuck trying to make it work for you, ask a question here and you’ll get great help!

You have buyer’s remorse! I used to have 2/3 notebooks at a time now is just the rm2 for allllll reading ebooks, pdf, articles and I can take notes 🙌

Welcome to the paperless revolution. Mine has changed my life. It solved my problems staying organized by allowing me to create separate notebooks and folders. I also appreciate that all of my documents can be available on any of my devices with the app. The writing experience is fantastic too. It’s kind of a leap of faith when it comes to the price, but I’ve found it to be totally worth it so far.
