I’m getting some work done under warranty on my 13 Nissan juke. The tech says the catalytic converter is the only thing not converted by warranty and estimated $2500 for the part alone. I googled catalytic converters for the car and I’m seeing them for $100. Is this a “you get what you pay for” situation or am I being up charged up the farter?

Get your warranty work done and have the cats checked out at a decent muffler shop. If they do need replacing have them do it. Much cheaper

I’m not sure I’d go with a $100 dollar catalytic converter on anything (though I had an ebay 150 dollar cat on my Subaru and it had no issues), but I sure as hell wouldn’t pay $2500 for one for a 10 year old Juke either.

A 400-500 dollar Walker, AP/Eastern should work OK.
