    Either will work, like the other commenter said the extra amperage will only help in certain cases. If they are the same price/quality I would get bigger just cause, other than that 100amp is fine. The 130 could be an upgrade option for a higher trim, or just a higher amp option.

    It should only matter if you either; have a big upgraded sound system, or live in an area with extreme weather. These will drain a battery more.

    In the 80’s a mate (Auto electrician) gave me a 55A alternator as an upgrade to the standard 35A unit. I never had battery problems, even with the smaller unit.

    If you up size it will use less of it’s overall capacity therefore …in theory it will last longer. Less wear and tear less heat, I’ve done this sizing aircraft generators

    Assuming same brand and quality
