hey guys I have a 08 Taurus that had the water pump go out. The water pump is internal and basically dumped all the coolant into my oil. I just drained it and emptied the rest of the coolant. I know it’s basically a timing job, but I don’t know who to buy the parts from. I looked on rock auto and there’s a lot of manufacturers. I also called ford and they priced all the parts at 800$+. on rock auto it seems to be less than 300 for everything I need. Just worried about bad quality parts as it’s a long job and I don’t want to have to do it twice. if anyone else has worked on these engines and has any tips please let me know!
