Hello Everyone,

I am in the market to buy a new car and the Mazda 3 Sport 2023 is what I have settled for. This is the first time owning and or purchasing a vehicle and unsure as to how to go about it.

If I were to build the vehicle on the Mazda website. Is the information relayed to a dealership nearby? If so, will they honor the financing interest rate selected on the manufacturer website?

I’ve searched and searched for used cars with low milage and they are all 22k CAD plus 💀. Pretty much the same price as a new car financing wise. Most of the low milage going for cheap all have an accident history on them.

Any help is appreciated 😊.

If you build a car online and ask to be contacted by a local dealer, they may get the details of your build, but don’t count on it. Expect to have to tell them exactly what you’re looking for again.

If you have very good or excellent credit history, the dealer should be able to match the rates you saw online. If you have limited or blemished credit history, expect to be presented with a higher rate.

I would actually take a step back and research all of the Mazda dealers in your area. Pick a couple that have a good reputation and call them or visit them. Get a feel for which dealer you like. The purchase process can be very pleasant or a complete nightmare depending on the dealer, so start by picking a good one. Tell them what you want and what your budget is and go from there.
