This happened to me and I live in a cold place so basically it meant I was getting no hot air in the cabin. The dealer replaced everything for free and said mazda is aware of the problem. I had the same vehicle as you by the way. Also make sure you check your coolant level after the repairs are done. It may be significantly lower than normal.
