I’m curious if there are more people like myself who frequently use the native timer on their apple watch.

    I have two.

I’m bariatric so I can’t drink 30 minutes after I eat. So I have one for that.

Then I have a water goal I have to meet. I have a 5 minute timer to remind me to drink water.

I have a terrible memory, so I use the timer (and reminders) for a lot of things, during work out, cooking, laundry, how long to steep my tea, naps etc.

Cooking and beer cans in freezer. I go “timer for beer, 25 minutes”, Siri confirms “timer for dear”, “timer for bear”, “timer for brear”, “timer for beear” 99% of the time.

Baking mostly. I have double oven so use my microwave timer for the top oven and watch for bottom.

I used to use it a lot for cooking, but since Apple added the Dynamic Island on the iPhone which puts the timer visible without having to leave most apps, I’ve started using my iPhone for that more.

I do still use my Watch timer for naps at work, though. The vibrating alert is perfect without bothering others.

I’m a teacher so I use it all the time for timing things that I want the children to do like writing, reading, taking down homework or group work! So handy!!
