What’s everyone’s preferred brand and experience regarding aftermarket brake pads? The m sport brake pads dust a lot due to being semi metallic and eat into rotors.

I’m interested in changing to the EBC red stuff but I’ve heard mixed reviews on the brake dust. EBC says it’s low dust but others have said it dusts pretty bad. Also have Hawk, Powerstop in mind as well.

I have recently swapped mines and I got the Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads for both front and back. Tbh, the stopping power is there and definitely get better as they heat up. But as you might’ve read already, they do screech when cold. Like slightly getting out of parallel parking could be noisy. But brake dust is 95% less than OEM. So its a tradeoff

OEM will generally provide excellent daily driver bite. You’ll get get brake dust. HAWK HPS will lessen brake dust but you gotta treat them a bit gingerly in cold temps until they warm up. Can you spare 10-15min perhaps for a decent bite at warm up temps?
