When I go around a curve, pass a semi, or hit a pothole my drivers side front wheel slides in and out of alignment causing me to adjust my steering wheel. It feels like I’m sliding on ice for a split second when the weight shifts. My car will drive perfectly straight and I’ll go right around a curve and while taking the curve my wheel slides and I have to adjust my steering wheel to the left. What could be the issue?
Sounds like something is fucked and you should take it to a mechanic. What do you want us to do? Lol
It should be towed to a mechanic or junk yard.
No shit genius. I was asking for advice to narrow down the issue so I can address it. No need to be a dick.
Your willingness to drive a car with a known potentially dangerous handling problem is grossly irresponsible!! You are potentially putting yourself and other drivers on the road at risk. Stop driving it now. Your description of the issue makes no sense beyond that it’s seriously fucked up.
Cry about it. I’m not putting anybody at danger but myself. You don’t know my route or any details entailing my travels.
Bad bushing, ball joint, or tie rod. Get it checked
Take it to a shop dummy
Sounds like a rack & pinion bushing. Have it checked asap.
