My car was leaking and I took it to an old friend that works at a mechanic shop. At first he told me it was the radiator so I bought a $200 radiator. Once I took it to him he said never mind it was just a hose. So I sent him money to get a fixing kit and returned the radiator (money besides the labor) Now it’s leaking again and I got under the car and see the fans are loose and they are hitting the radiator. And the part that he fixed is also leaking. Is there anything I can do. Does the soap or egg thing really work? Can I use the plastic tiedowns to hold the fan so it won’t hit the radiator? Please help I just paid my light so I don’t have money to take it back to get “fixed” but I have to keep working to pay my bills.
Eat the loss and take it to someone who can actually fix it.
