Still ran good, OS updates etc. screen time etc was so easy. The formula worked and so the younger siblings did the same thing.

Simplicity is the reason for us. When I was old enough to have a device I got handed an older parental iPhone. Still ran good, OS updates etc. screen time etc was so easy. The formula worked and so the younger siblings did the same thing.
So the same as a Samsung or Pixel, who both get more years of updates than Apple now.
