My car has felt terrible, vibrating on highway, feeling like it’s going to come apart after every bump. I took it to the tech and he said it was critical we replace the control arms (and the necessary alignment afterwards) quoted at $1,667 for parts and labor.

This is the local car mechanic that has been trustworthy in the past… but this seems super high to me…

Any advice? My car is a 60,000 mile 2017 subaru forester.

    I just had my subaru wrx get a wheel alignment done at subaru. It cost $119+tax

    So the rest for control arms is a huge rip off.
