My car has felt terrible, vibrating on highway, feeling like it’s going to come apart after every bump. I took it to the tech and he said it was critical we replace the control arms (and the necessary alignment afterwards) quoted at $1,667 for parts and labor.
This is the local car mechanic that has been trustworthy in the past… but this seems super high to me…
Any advice? My car is a 60,000 mile 2017 subaru forester.
I really appreciate it.
If you can DIY…it’s outrageous. If you can’t DIY, it’s unfortunately in the ballpark labor costs nowadays. No better time to learn though. YouTube makes DIY available to anyone with the desire to learn.
Good luck!
