I have a 2014 VW Jetta which was running fine over the weekend when I was driving it. I had taking the car in to be inspected back in August.

Yesterday when driving within ten minutes the cars EPC and check engine light turned on. It was vibrating my seat when I was stalled at stop lights and would eventually reduce shaking once the car was accelerating.

Any insight on what may be wrong with the car?

Possibly either a failing ignition coil, or a timing belt issue. On the latter you’ll want to diagnose that as quickly as possible. The EA888 engine is known for it.
