Hello! Jfyi, I was not allowed to use the word “tire” in the title so I had to improvise.
For example, a specific car must have(acording manual) 2.3 bars in all wheels. Is driving with 2.0-2.1 bars that bad? And when it’s the best way to measure it, with cold tires or after a drive?
I argue with one of my family member all the time regarding tire pressure. He is maniacal about it(like checking every 2-3 days) and I am curious how bad it is(if it is).

For us American folks, that’s a difference of about 3lbs. So 30 instead of the 33 it calls for.
Not it’s not a big deal - it will cause the tires to wear slightly more premature and also slightly affect fuel mileage - but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not a huge difference.
I wouldn’t want to go more than 5 psi, or .4 bar, difference for too long, though. I think at that level or lower, you will see the negative effects more dramatically.

If you’re just driving close by its probably fine but if you’re hitting the highway I don’t recommend it.
I agree it’s silly to check it daily unless you got a bad leak. Does the car have sensors in the tires? My first car had a bad leak but the sensor always told me when to fill it.
Thx for the answer. Yes, it has pressure sensor, but it triggers the alarm at around 1.7bars or so, which is already low.
The TPMS warning light will come on when the tire drops 25% below the specified pressure.
Yes it speeds up wear and tear and can cause poor control in inclement weather
10% low isn’t a big issue.
I off road and air down to like 15-20 psi when on the trail. Sometimes I drive like 5-10 miles to gas station when I’m too lazy to hook up my compressor. I go 40-50mph max. I have not had a problem.
It’s not a problem. There’s a reason why the low tire pressure light comes on when it does. The manufacturers want to make sure you are safe. Accidents are bad press.
