Is it worth to purchase this car? I dont have enough money for a G16 840i. I read that N55 was engine of the year 2011-2013. However, I find it ridiculous that there is no power trunk option at all for this chassis.
EDIT: Also the sunroof is basically a glorified windshield since it opens like 2 degrees
It’s just a trunk, not a 40kg dumbell, no electric - no problem. Can put aftermarket for 300-500£ depends if doing it yourself or by somebody else.
Sunroof is for minor ventilation I guess. It’s nice to have so more light comes in. I had cars before where it opens all the way - never used it, didn’t see a point.
To each their own I guess, but back to your question , this car still has N55, which is fairly good & reliable engine. Keep up with services and don’t redline when cold.
Even it looks like decent spec, I do think it’s overpriced.
Here the import tax alone for a 3.0 is 8k but we dont pay VAT on cars
