I own a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick, and its AC is not functioning properly. When I press the AC button on the dashboard, the green indicator light turns on, but it fails to activate the compressor under the hood. However, when I directly connect the compressor to the battery, it blows cold air and operates correctly. Despite this, the AC switch does not activate the compressor, even though its light indicates that it is on. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the AC or any other suggestions?

That is good advice but then I wired the compressor straight to the battery it blew cold air so I believe I have plenty of freon. The problem is when I hit the button on the dash it’s not engaging the AC.
