Someone on marketplace selling his cheap. Looked at information about he car online and apparently it’s really bad for maintenance and ends up costing a lot because the way the car is, this true?

It isn’t the usual maintenance, it’s everything else. Maintenance is an expected cost.
People online tend to seriously exaggerate the costs of owning these Euro cars, but there is *some* truth to it.
The cost exaggeration is more what happens after you DON’T do the maintenance on these cars.
