I figured it was just a refresh. As I browsed the pictures, it looked the same other than a new front end to keep the looks similar to the Crown, and like a muted version of the Lexus grille. Toyota did the same with the old tC when the FRS came out, and with the RC and IS when the LC came out. Just keeps the design language more uniform, and sometimes, is an improvement.
