I have this legacy (pictured above) I am working on. It is 3,800lbs. A uhaul car trailer is 2,210lbs. My Outback (also pictured) is rated to tow 3,500lbs unbraked. If I upgrade my Brakes/add CVT cooler, drive slowly on flat ground only, will my car be okay? It would be 2,500lbs over recommended towing. I bought a hitch rated at 7,000lbs. Grand total towing would be around 6,010lbs. What else should I add? Bad idea? Why?
