I just got a new used car. And the headlights are like this. I looked at them and they appear to be led’s. Is it supposed to look like that? I don’t know much about cars and have even less knowledge on working on em. The car is a 2014 Ford escape if that will help at all.

    They look like that because the headlights are designed for halogen bulbs and the previous owner put in some really shit aftermarket LEDs. Your options are replace the LEDs with the correct halogen bulb, or if you prefer the white light and blinding everyone, you could get better LED bulbs.

      So I think the bulbs I have are HID bulbs for my my low beam headlights. How does this affect what I need look for. When I buy some new bulbs?
