There’s tons of articles about which cars have the nicest interiors. But which ones have the most character / unique design features? Mini Countryman I think is up there the big circle with the led ring and the fun toggle switches below. Who else puts some fun into it?
I feel like this car can be driven standing up
Did you see the brand new Mini cooper/countryman? 360 round Oled display and colorful projectors for the interior with a lot of fancy trim options. That’s unique.
fuck i love the mini interior so much. TOGGGLE SWITCHES?! gimmie
Yup. The round center is cool. But I’m right there with the toggles. Way more fun than a momentary push button.
they’ve stayed with me ever since i first test drove one so many years ago. also, how well me and my buddy both fit in the cabin
Pagani…any of them… End of conversation.
The Nissan Cube has an optional dash carpet. Not those cloth dash protectors that prevent sun damage. It was just a little 6" circle of shag carpet sitting on your dash for… reasons I guess.

Woah. I’m not even a fan of the new Minis and now I sorta want one lol. It may be gimmicky but I love those toggle switches and the quirky screen.
https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/g40921714/dodge-charger-daytona-srt-concept-photos/ It Pretty milquetoast compared to some of the other suggestions here, but I like the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT’s interior, especially with the lighting, the big screen and the shifter that sort of reminds me of the old pistol grip shifters even though they look mostly different. I’m also excited that the Charger is finally returning to two doors as a large coupe. Now, if only they would consider putting in the Hurricane as an alternative to the EV version…
Honda e features 6 screens on the dash as well as a retro styling https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/honda/e/interior
This design for the mini goes all the way back to the R50/R53. It’s unusual compared to other brands, but very much in line with its previous designs.
Pagani
I love that 2021-2023 Mini interior. The new one is a massive step back (no dedicated driver screen; fewer physical buttons)
US spec steering wheel. Really clashes with the interior design. You want that 4 spoke one they had in the Top Gear review.
Yeah, the mandated airbag ain’t that pretty.
The BYD Atto 3 has some interesting details
Audi TT is my favourite; diamond stitched seats and no infotainment screen.
I had the Gen 1 with “Baseball Leather”. One of the best interiors ever.
That little radio cover that no one ever used! And the CD changer hidden in the B pillar.
The new 2023 Suzuki Hustler 4x4 has a pretty funky interior if I say so myself. Its like a fun but rugged interior.
Does the yoke count as funky?
