So quick question . I had to pry out the old cap . I got it out but damaged the outside a bit but not the threading . If I get a new cap will it still work or do I need to change the whole reservoir tank ? For coolant

If the threads aren’t damaged in the reservoir it will be fine to get a new cap
That tank isn’t pressurized so as long as the cap stays on, it’ll work fine.
