Hello!

My 2017 530i is giving me warnings to top off engine coolant. I ordered HT-12 Green cap coolant from bmw/mini. Was checking online and it seems like a lot of people use the Blue cap coolant from bmw.

Does anyone know what would be the right coolant for my car? Thanks!!

    The blue coolant can be used up to 2018. The green coolant must be used 2018 and newer but is backward compatible to earlier years.

    So you are fine with the newer green.
