I live in an apartment complex, and see people constantly putting bags of garbage on top of the hood, trunk, or roof of their cars to take to the dumpster.

I’m always floored by people doing this. Granted I live in FL lol, and people here are a bit weird, but curious if anyone else notices people doing this. Like why would place a heavy bag of garbage on your car where it can slide and scratch your paint?

There’s not 0 risk. Setting a bag of trash or anything on your car is a good way to scratch it. Lots of micro scratches are what makes paint look terrible over time. I would never set anything on a car I actually care about.

My guy, paint is far too strong for “micro scratches” and thats even without the PPF you 100% have unless your car is a century old.

Or they know what PPF is and know theres 0 chance anything in the back scratches their car. Unless they happen to be throwing away a bag of jagged pieces of tungsten and diamond drill bits… maybe. I dont even think that would scratch the paint from just rolling off the hood.
