Big trucks and SUVs, especially those with flat front ends, aren’t just more intimidating to look at, they are genuinely deadlier for pedestrians, according to new research from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

    And I can’t have my goddamn pop up headlights

    you can, they’re legal in the US. They became unnecessary after US relaxed its regulations on headlights. US had a ban on aerodynamic headlights, so that’s why we had pop-ups.

      Yes, because most of the iconic vehicles with pop ups are American made.
