Dealer told me my brake pads were dangerously low. I bit, and bought new pads and rotors, and did them myself. This is “dangerously low?”

    I had the same thing happen with my Infiniti a couple years ago. Makes you wonder how many people fall for that.

    Not low at all, but I would look into why your pad isn’t wearing evenly.

    Pro tip when u hear the grinding sound when you brake that’s the brake pad telling you to switch your pads they’re built to warn u bro don’t need to check

    Same thing on mine I changed pads first time at 275,000 miles pads still good but calipers needed replacing because car is 2014 10years on original pads, btw rears are still original at 300,000 miles
