This is my first post in the forum, so I’m not too sure if this is the correct place for it. I sent an email to Filtrete customer service, and hopefully, I will have a solution in the next few days. I have followed the directions on connecting the air purifier to the app and the only thing I get is an error saying it can’t locate the device. I just connected the smart filter with no problem. I can even see that it says SAF (smart air filter) when I go to Bluetooth. I turned it on and off to see if it would show up there to verify if that’s what it actually was. I have unplugged the air purifier for 30 seconds and even moved it closer to the router. I’m hoping someone on here has an answer since I’m all out of ideas.

A lot of these IOT devices are in 2.4ghz spectrum. Have you tried to connect it to a confirmed 2.4ghz network?

I haven’t set this up in some time. This was originally set up in my barracks before I was discharged. I managed to get it working then. I connected my phone to both my 2.4 and 5ghz before trying to set it up through the app.
