I was going to ask what this had to do with the Tories. I was wrong on two fronts. The UK Tories, despite it not being traditional for them to support individual freedoms, especially with this US-style rhetoric, did pass this law. Two, this is a US centric community, and the US right-wing do purport themselves to be free-speech defenders, (it is only recently that the UK tories have started apeing them).

Would the mod consider changing the sidebar to say: ‘An American/US community for conservatives’?

    Thanks.

I’ve put America in parenthesis under rule 2. Maybe I should make it more prominent, but I feel like that might frighten away any potential conservatives from anywhere but America. I would like this sub to grow, and perspectives from other countries would be nice.

The problem, if it is one, is that I’m American, and I see things from a certain perspective. I hold human rights to be of the utmost importance, especially freedom of speech. And this is a clear violation of that inalienable right.

Yeah I saw that and my idea was to have the first line be edited to make it more prominent. It’s your community, just a suggestion from me.
