minus-squarezen@monyet.cclinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agomaybe this would look better if it was cross posted instead of linked? (if you’ve already tried that, then please disregard this.)
minus-squaremarche_ck@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoYeah, I would prefer it that way. It just that federated sites don’t seem like like playing nice yet.
minus-squarezen@monyet.cclinkfedilinkarrow-up2·edit-21 year agohave you tried searching for the post? i just did on monyet and got this instance specific url: https://monyet.cc/post/137667 in which the cross-post button is visible (for monyet users). maybe this search will work for you. anyway, as usual, if you already know all this, then please disregard.
minus-squarezen@monyet.cclinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agonp. this is how the fediverse works, you have to search search search. usually you search for things to follow/subscribe (users on mastodon, communities on lemmy). but there’s a lesser known thing you can search for, which is posts/comments, to reply to, and in this case, to cross-post them.
