I just got the series x and it seems like it’s trying to remember where I was at on a game and open back to that point. But it never seems to work correctly. Is there a way to disable it or fix it?

Quick resume tends to get a bit funny when used with games that require some kind of online connection.

I find some games work perfectly, but others do not. For the ones that don’t, I just fully close and then start the title again.

So far it’s worked great (unless you shutdown the Xbox, in which case it stops working on 360’s games) with single players, while MP games kick you out the server and you either have to log in again or restart the game altogether

I really wish there was a way to turn off the ‘quick resume’ feature. It never seems to work properly for online multiplayer games. I always have to boot the game, force quit, and boot the game again to get them to work correctly

It’s disappointing that there is no way to disable it. It doesn’t work for any of my games

    Congrats on the xsx!

Quick resume is a hit and miss, sometimes it just doesn’t work properly. You can force quit a game to start fresh.
