Canada aren’t playing bad, but there is a gulf in quality with the defensive lines. Ours just look like they are running in molasses and our midfield is not tracking runs after turnovers. Japan’s press is really good, but the scoreline flatters them a bit given the deflected goal and own goal plus a missed pen.
