Especially for someone in Philine’s cicumstances. She’ll have a hard enough time being accepted in the Sovereignty just from being a laynoble alone, so she certainly doesn’t need to be seen as weird on top of that.
To be fair to him, marrying a child would reasonably feel creepy. But to be unfair to him, I hope he shows soon that he cares about more than her looks.
