From reading that, it seems they agreed to take down the makeshift wall specifically to allow for the permanent wall to go up. I don’t think that’s a reasonable comparison to this weird floating thing Texas is doing.
I’m operating from the assumption that feds generally win disputes with states over the border in court. I’m not sure what gives Texas a hand here or is my assumption incorrect?
