Reform has said it had opened investigations where activists or members had “clearly behaved inappropriately”, adding there was “no room for racism” in the party.
If there’s no room for that they’ll have to fire most of their staff, and then they’ll only be left with the ones who are only corrupt.
These stories are not the gotchas the journalists think they are. Anyone who cares about whether someone is a racist already isn’t going to vote for Reform, anyone who would vote for Reform either doesn’t care that the party is full of racists or actually likes that.
It might deter some more centre-right Tories from supporting Reform. They might have been thinking “yeah I like Nige, I think we need to stop the boats” but then they might think “err I don’t want to be seen as racist, I could lose my job”.
