Some important details on how GenZ voted:

Young voters favored Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in the 2024 election by 4 points: 51% to 47%. That was a much smaller margin than young voters gave President Biden over Trump in 2020 (+25), but still by far the strongest support for Harris of any age group in this election.

    Source

It’s a manosphere issue, it was 56% of GenZ men getting lost in the right wing incel movement:

Young women preferred Harris to Trump by a 17-point margin: 58% to 41%. But young men preferred Trump by a 14-point margin: 56% to 42%.

I had such high hopes for Gen Z that with their cohort we would finally have the political mass to start removing the entrenched corporate interests in our governments. But the whole manosphere movement just totally derailed that.

Not to paint with too broad a brush, obviously not all Gen Z men, but damn, these guys are just incoherent in their world view. They bash boomers, Gen X, and the economy for their state of affairs, and in practically the same breath fanboy over Musk, spout off some half-baked Peterson philosophy, tie it together with some Rogan interview, all peppered with some Alpha Male, hustle culture code words. I understand that they have been stewing in this since they were kids, and I really feel for them that they’ve just been bombarded with this propaganda. But they’re impossible to have a conversation with. Where do you even start to deprogram them?

Democrats need to run better candidates. Why are we constantly forced to choose between shit and slightly-less-shit?

Candidates with corporate overlord approval are almost always shit.
