I felt the same way at first. Turns out that i was so disconnected from my appearance and numb to that fact that I interpreted my indifference as being okay with it. I didnt understand that what I was feeling was dysphoria until after I accepted that I was trans.
If you think youre “okay” with being a guy, ask yourself a few questions:
- Is it a “positive” okay, meaning you actively like being a guy? Or is it “neutral” or “negative” okay, meaning you just dont actively hate it and are being carried forward by inertia?
- If you could press a button and instantly beca woman in all aspects with the caveat that you cant go back, would you press it?


IDK, having hair on my head and not in my face sounds neat, but having a uterus sounds horrible… pressing that button would be such a gamble.
