    I think if I still had a Mac, I might be tempted to use home brew on my Linux box as well. Just for muscle memory.

    Does anyone here use Homebrew on Linux, if so what’s the motivation? I can see that you might what an LTS base and a separate package manager for userspace, but why not go the distrobox route - CLI apps?

      Yes, it’s actually what Universal Blue recommends for installing CLI apps on their immutable distros. They also use it to install fonts and maintain their own tap with casks for IDEs and other GUI apps which don’t work well in flatpak/distrobox like 1Password.
