    i never liked her. rosie o’donnell became the white oprah in the late 90s. she was the antidote to all the trashy daytime talk shows that saturated the airwaves at the time. she was pure and whole some. but there was a darkness underneath her everywoman, standup comedian charm.

    she spoke the language of fearful, boring, white suburban moms; these were the type of moms who cut off their children if they were gay or smoked a doobie. she was never really funny or charming unless you spent a lot of time at the applebee’s happy hours and giggled when your male co-worker referenced the macarena in a lame joke that was 3 or 4 years out of fashion, but she could fool you.

    her rise to fame and fortune is uniquely american in a very bad way. she doesn’t deserve celebration, only ridicule. lots of people dislike trump, at least 80% of the internet does.

      Yeah, she always been disingenuous and obnoxious. Best I can say about her is at least she’s not Ellen DeGeneres - she’s got a notorious reputation in LA for being a horrible bitch.
