      From the fact, that no iPhone has touchID.
      Afaik only macbooks and iPads.

      Will your really be that one tourist holding up a 10" tablet to take a picture and answer a call with?

        That doesn’t mean you’re forced to use faceid. You can use just a pin/passcode. There’s no secondary unlock options. But you’re not forced to use faceid.
