So it was a complete adaptation. Great finale for this gem of a show, which gradually became one my spring favourites.

Seira bringing a whole band for Aimi and Nami to perform The Licky Love Song in front of Kirio was as beautiful as the Moon, at which Aimi howled with tears in her voice. Tsuki ga kirei, truly.

Great finale to a great show. The song made a comeback in a weirdest way possible, all thanks to Seira who’s the true MVP of the series. The show had its ups and downs, not all the jokes landed, but when they did it was absolutely hilarious. IMO it was one of the best shows of the season, despite somewhat poor reception. I guess some people expected more typical romcom and got pure comedy-drama instead?
