    The specifics for pipa need to be followed. Video needs to be stored internally and securely. Not on the cloud in another country. The only people with access need to be defined. There should be no audio or video in the cab etc.

    Something about this… I would want the storage to be offline, and collected at the point of an event with signoff from a judge, not another flock of virtually 24/7 camera streaming data to a datacenter somewhere.

    Don’t worry soon the trucks will be getting rid of their drivers soon to. People are the most expensive part of the trucking industry, and people will be replaced in the next 5 to 10 years.

      Former truck driver here. I’ve been hearing this for almost 20 years now. It still won’t be soon.

      I didn’t quit because of self-driving trucks, I quit because it’s a shitty industry that abuses drivers.
