When I was younger, I had a bad habit of making weird faces and winking. Over time, I managed to overcome this particular habit, but I found myself developing a multitude of other physical and mental habits. Previously, I used to engage in these habits extensively, but now I have significantly reduced their frequency. Curious about my experiences, I turned to ChatGPT and asked if I was normal. Its response surprised me as it suggested that I might have a mental health condition called Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Initially, I was skeptical and believed that these habits were just habits, without any underlying mental health condition. However, one day while watching YouTube shorts, I came across a video discussing OCD. I decided to delve deeper into the subject and conduct my own research. I discovered that my seemingly innocuous habits were, in fact, indicative of OCD and its characteristic repetitive thoughts.
